Due to the anticipated icy conditions, worship will be online only. Please worship safely from home!

Our fourth midweek worship falls on the Winter Solstice. Tradition says that nature and all her creatures stop and hold their breath to see if the sun will turn back from its wanderings, if the days will lengthen and the earth will once again feel the sun’s warmth. As we gather on the Longest Night, we will worship with quiet hope and longing, sitting in the darkness to wait for the light of God’s promise. This is a Christmas service, but one that is more contemplative and subdued than the big to-do of Christmas eve. Worship starts at 6:15.
