Sunday, October 25 marked the inauguration of our fall stewardship appeal. A departure from the past, each week this campaign will feature people telling stories, stories about generosity and abundance, big-heartedness and kindness. Some storytellers will tell about ministries at Agnus Dei which inspire their passion. Others will speak of their own experience with generosity: a time when they directly experienced generosity or how/when they learned about the value of generosity. Together, during the next few weeks, we will learn more about Building a Culture of Generosity, the theme of this fall’s campaign. During this time of the pandemic, it may be difficult for many of us to think about committing a portion of our income to the church, about filling out a pledge card. This year we will be asking all Agnus Dei members to make a statement of intent, prayerfully considering how, given each person’s situation, one can celebrate the gift of generosity and thanksgiving for this church and its ministries. Watch for Stories of Generosity each week as we continue our journey of gratitude.
