As we gather on one of the longest nights of the year, we will worship with quiet hope and longing, sitting in the darkness to wait for the light of God’s promise.
While Advent is a season of hope and Christmas is a season of joy, not everyone feels hopeful or like celebrating. This can be a time of year that magnifies our losses and our anxieties. This service provides the space to acknowledge some of the other feelings we may have during the days surrounding our celebration of Christmas.
This is a Christmas service, but one that is more contemplative and subdued than the big to-do of Christmas eve. Worship starts at 4:00.
