For centuries, Christians have been taught that it is our job to bring God to the people who don't have God. Imagine Paul's surprise, then, when he goes to do just that and finds that God is already there.
Perhaps as Christians, it is not our job to bring God to where God is not, but rather to look for God in unexpected places and help others to see where God may be hidden. Perhaps instead of trying to make converts, we might try making connections.
