2 Corinthians 4:3-6; Mark 9:2-9
Listen to Him

One of the lessons of the story of the Transfiguration may be to learn to trust Jesus. As a community that we believe is the Body of Christ, that sometimes means learning to trust that community. In order to do that, we need to listen to one another, and listen for the voice of the Spirit within that community.
How can we listen more closely to the voice of Christ? Whose voices and perspectives might we seek out to hear Christ's voice?

JESUS MAFA is a response to the New Testament readings from the Lectionary by a Christian community in Cameroon, Africa. Each of the readings was selected and adapted to dramatic interpretation by the community members. Photographs of their interpretations were made, and these were then transcribed to paintings.
