Worship at Agnus Dei
  • Liturgical - we follow the ancient pattern of 'gather, meal, word, sending.'
  • Purposeful - prayers, songs, and all we do in worship connect us to the Scripture readings of the day.
  • Musical - Agnus Dei is blessed with many gifted musicians.  At each service you will hear organ and piano, and a variety of musical styles.
  • Reverent AND Joyful - We take worship seriously but are quick to share laughter and have fun.
  • A Note on Holy Communion
During our virtual worship, you are invited to receive Holy Communion in your home. Simply have bread and wine (or close substitutes) at hand when the service begins. If you choose not to receive Holy Communion, you will be invited to receive a blessing.

We choose to do this because Holy Communion is a gift of God's grace that unites us with all Christians across time and space—even the space of social distancing. It is God's promise that makes the bread and wine Christ's body and blood for us, not the physical presence of the pastor.

However, care should be taken when celebrating Holy Communion in the home. Treat the elements with respect. It is appropriate to eat or drink any remainders, or dispose of them respectfully rather than throw them in the garbage or down the sink. Remember that these elements are how Christ chooses to be present among us and treat them accordingly.
Music at Agnus Dei

Agnus Dei is blessed with many fine musicians who offer musical offerings year-round to enhance our worship experience. The Paul Fritts Organ Opus 31 was installed in March of 2011 and we are currently waiting for our new organ under construction now. See our current newsletter for the most recent update on it's progress.

Agnus Dei Choir
The Choir, under the direction of Shari Shull, with Susan Luebeck accompanying, enhances our worship with choral music.  We rehearse most Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 PM, and sing for either the 8:30 AM or the 11 AM service on Sundays from September to June.  All are welcome to join their voices in prayer and praise as we “sing to the Lord a new song.”

Handbell Choir
The Handbell Choir, under the direction of Shari Shull, provides handbell music throughout the year from September to June.  We rehearse from 5:30 to 6:30 PM on selected Mondays.  All are welcome to join in ringing our praise.
