Even if we don't believe that God requires anything of us in order to be loved, sometimes we can still feel like we fall short of what God expects of us, that we never quite measure up. Maybe that's true, but what if that's not God's main concern?
Think about something you've created or accomplished, something you take great pride in. What makes it "good?" How do you feel about it's flaws? About it's features?
Now imagine God looking on you like you look on that thing or that accomplishment of yours. Does that change how you see yourself?
